The research team at the Young Women's Freedom Center is an intergenerational collective of cis and trans women working together to conduct participatory and decolonizing research. Our mission is rooted in the belief that our community is best situated to explore the issues we face, research it and articulate solutions. Our research agenda is guided by the immediate concerns that our community faces and to use research as a tool for radical system's transformation.

The Sister Warriors Freedom Coalition is a membership base of incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, and system-involved women, girls, and gender non-forming folks. Together, we work to transform the laws and systems that have caused us harm.  

Formed in 2017 and unified by the Bill of Rights, the Coalition provides members opportunities to come together with networking, education, emotional support, and paid opportunities to take leadership in the movement.
